We have a 1974 MG MGB Convertible here at MotoeXotica Classic Cars.
We are selling this classic British roadster for a consignor who has owned the car since 2003.
Made in Abingdon, England, this car is finished in red.
The paint and trim are in overall very good order.
This two-seater's bodywork is straight and solid, the chrome bumpers fit tightly to the body and look great.
The engine bay is very tidy.
The passenger door has a slight sag at the hinge but closes.
Extra storage is available via the chrome rear luggage rack.
The car comes with some documentation of the restoration and spare parts as photographed.
This droptop rolls on Michelin Defender radials, size 185/70R14 all around.
Each one is mounted to a factory alloy wheel.
The wheels are in excellent shape while the tires remain in very good condition.

In the second half of 1974 the chrome bumpers were replaced altogether.
A new, steel-reinforced black rubber bumper at the front incorporated the grille area as well, giving a major restyling to the B's nose, and a matching rear bumper completed the change.
New US headlight height regulations also meant that the headlamps were too low.
Rather than redesign the front of the car, British Leyland raised the car's suspension by one inch.
