Vehicle Description IT'S ALIVE! AUTOMOTIVE is pleased to present this 1952 MG TD Roadster in the classic color combination of Ivory Cream over a Black interior with a new, Black folding convertible top.
Per the MG Car Club T-series Register, this example was completed on May 5th 1952 and still retains its matching-number XPAG engine.
IT'S ALIVE! acquired this TD in October 2023, from a local owner who had purchased the car in September 2011.
Under the previous owner's tenure, the MG TD was routinely serviced by MG Specialist, John Mangles who rebuilt the front suspension and rear shocks in 2014 and rebuilt the carburetors in 2018 with new Nitrophyl floats to stand up to modern fuel.
Under the care of our in-house specialists, the cylinder head was fully machined and rebuilt with new Valves, Valve Springs, and Valve Guides, before being reinstalled with a new head gasket set.
We also treated the MG to a brand-new convertible top frame assembly and fitted a new black convertible top.
The recipient of an older restoration, the MG presents today as an honest, running driving example with a charming level of Patina that only comes from the most cherished of classics.
This MG TD is the ideal example to drive and enjoy as.
If you want to get behind the wheel of a timeless British roadster and ready to be the next caretaker of this classic, then give us a call at 314-710-6600 or send an email to email protected .
