For Sale: 1933 Packard Twelve in Saint Louis, Missouri for sale in Saint Louis, MO

1 of 44
Vehicle Description One of the most spectacular Packards of the Classic Era is undoubtedly the Individual Custom Sport Phaeton, coachbuilt by LeBaron Carrossiers under the direction of Packard styling chief Ed Macauley.
The breathtaking streamlined design was years ahead of its time, and was appropriately only offered on the prestigious and highly refined twelve-cylinder 1108-series chassis in 1934.
It is believed that only five were produced, and the four known survivors are closely held by private collectors and worth millions.
This exacting and faithful recreation was meticulously crafted by Fran Roxas.
Mr.
Roxas is a highly respected restorer, and he built a small handful of these magnificent machines for select clients, though he kept this car - body #4 - for himself.
It is based on a genuine 1933 Packard 1006 Twelve chassis which is virtually identical in spec to the 1108.
Resplendent in its shade of mink silver over a gray leather interior, it is finished to stunning, concours-quality standards with a highly detailed engine bay and undercarriage.
The stunning form is incredibly faithful to the original LeBaron Sport Phaeton, down to the disappearing roof and full, matching side curtain set.
Awarded Best in Class (New Coachwork) at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, and suitable for further concours exhibition or touring events.
