It came equipped with special heads with round exhaust ports, larger intake ports, radical hi-lift camshaft, heavy duty rotating assembly, Winters aluminum intake with enhanced Rochester Quadrajet carburetor, and heavy-duty rear axle ratio! It was modestly rated by Pontiac at 370 horsepower, but speculation assumes Pontiac reported the horsepower output on the conservative side! It was built in the Pontiac, Michigan plant the 2nd week of May before traveling to Wapakoneta, Ohio where it sold new from Oen Pontiac-Buick Company with an astounding 15 factory options including numbers matching 400ci Ram Air IV engine option, Hurst-shifted Muncie M21 close-ratio 4-speed manual transmission with center console, 14x6 Rally II steel wheels, power disc brakes, variable-ratio power steering, 3.
90 rear axle ratio with Safe-T-Track, Rally Gauge Package with hood-mounted tachometer, in-dash electric clock, push-button AM/FM/Stereo 8-track radio with rear seat speaker, remote drivers mirror, all tinted glass, rubber floor mats, and rare rear window defrost! This car is truly stunning from every angle with paint condition nothing short of show quality! It has correct, date-coded components throughout the engine bay including the 9792506 WW-coded block, 722 heads, Winters aluminum intake & original Rochester Quadrajet carburetor (29273XB 0919), header style exhaust manifolds with heat shields, stamped radiator hoses with proper tower clamps, Delco-Remy electronics, GM parts stickers, and more! Completed in 1996, everything on this vehicle has been fully rebuilt or restored including the engine, all braking & suspension components, entire fuel system, and stainless steel exhaust system.

We cannot find any evidence of replacement panels with what appears to be all original floor pans and smooth frame rails.
