In 1976, with just 2,700 carefully driven miles, the car went into proper storage for the winter where it remained for 43 years.
In 2020 the car was discovered by renowned classic car expert Arthur Colin Comer and a six-month recommissioning began with hiring Marquis expert Cliff Ebben to perform the mechanical work, as well as intense detailing and preservation work.
