Made in February 1973 in Coventry, England, the previous owner of this beautiful cat acquired it in British Columbia, Canada after a previous owner reportedly found it in an Arizona desert in 2007.
HE has lovingly cared for this Jag for the past 12 years and did an engine out refurbishment.

The car's claimed 150 mph top speed, sub-seven-second 0 to 60 mph acceleration, monocoque construction, disc brakes, rack-and-pinion steering and independent front and rear suspension distinguished the car and spurred industry-wide changes.
Dressed in Silver Gray, the car?s paint and trim are in overall excellent order with minor blemishes.
The car?s windows, including the rear window with a defroster grid, and lights are in very good order while the body is solid and straight; the engine bay extremely tidy, the battery looks good, the cargo area is in very good condition.

The car?s engine was removed during the winter of 2016-2017 to allow engine bay repainting plus cooling, electrical and exhaust system work.

The E-Type was based on Jaguar's D-Type racing car, which had won the 24 Hours of Le Mans three consecutive years beginning 1955 and employed what was, for the early 1960s, a novel racing design principle:
a front subframe carrying the engine, front suspension and front bodywork bolted directly to the body tub.
No ladder frame chassis, common at the time, was needed and the first cars weighed only 2,900 pounds.
