Vehicle Description We are proud to offer for sale a 1973 Triumph Daytona 500 T100R finished in Turquoise & Silver with Black vinyl seat.
It's presented as a wonderfully kept original with only cosmetic restoration as-needed over the years.
It retains its original 490cc air-cooled twin engine and 4-speed constant mesh transmission.
Features on the Daytona T100R include telescopic hydraulic front fork with swing arm rear suspension with two coil-over shocks, 8 front/7 rear drum brakes, chrome spoke wheels and Avon Speedmaster MkII tires measuring 3.

Our example includes gas tank knee pads, chrome fenders, turn signals, and twin rearview mirrors.
This unit comes from the former Fort Lauderdale owner with just 2,182 miles showing on the odometer.
It was garage kept and only exercised at 2-mile increments along a private airport driveway on a relatively regular basis.
It just recently had a new battery installed prior to its arrival at our museum.

After a competition win at the 1967 Daytona 200 in Florida with Buddy Elmore on the throttle, Triumph Motorcycles gained much recognition with its first-ever Daytona victory.
To commemorate the win, they produced a special race edition for the public called the Daytona Tiger T100R.
It would feature the same air-cooled 490cc vertical twin power plant fitted with twin Amal carburetors, 9.

The Daytona Tiger T100R would go on to win again at the Daytona 200 in 1967 with rider Gary Nixon.
