Underneath that is EPNS which stands for electroplated nickel silver. . is apparently the production pattern stock number used by the firm to identify the item.Elizur G. Webster began the silver-plating at Broadway NY in . I did search for this particle mark since there were other versions. From what I gathered this is the mark for Elizur G.
