For Sale: 1954 Buick Skylark in Saint Louis, Missouri for sale in Saint Louis, MO

1 of 36
Vehicle Description The spectacular Buick Skylark debuted in 1953 in celebration of marque's 50th anniversary, joining the limited production Cadillac Eldorado and Oldsmobile Fiesta in a Dream Car Trifecta delivering a host of luxury options and a hefty price tag to match.
In typical 1950s fashion, the following model year ushered in totally new styling that was inspired by the outlandish Wildcat II concept car.
Highlights included the chrome fin-taillight assemblies, dramatic chrome sweeps on the body, and of course, the contrasting scalloped wheel arches.
The addition of the 322 cubic-inch Nailhead V8 engine and smooth-shifting Dynaflow automatic transmission meant the performance lived up to the wild new looks.
This gorgeous 1954 example is one of just 836 built in the final year of production for the original Skylark.
Presented in Matador Red with contrasting white wheel arches and top, it is a striking example of this highly collectible Buick.
It is the subject of a superb, highly-detailed, nut-and-bolt restoration, and includes factory-correct fitments such as Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels, power steering, power windows, Selectronic radio and more.
This is an outstanding, collector-owned example of a 1950s icon, ready for all manner of driving and concours events.
