SUPERVISORY ARCHIVIST SPECIALIST

The following are the duties of this position at the GS-13. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position. - Conducts detailed analysis of Core Branch functional operations and establishes program goals and objectives in line with the strategic direction of the Core Branch, NPRC, and its customers. - Independently provides guidance to supervisors in the planning and scheduling of work and in the setting and re-adjusting of priorities to meet mission requirements. - Works directly with senior agency officials across the government, including Congressional Staffs, to determine unique program needs, prepare support agreements, identify/resolve billing discrepancies and troubleshoot barriers impacting service delivery. Experience:
For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Leading a team, program, or project; AND - Analyzing, evaluating or developing formal policies and procedures related to records management and services; AND - Applying and researching rules, regulations, policies, and practices to gather facts, and draw conclusions and/or make recommendations. For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Leading a team, program, or project; AND - Applying and researching rules, regulations, policies, and practices to gather facts, and draw conclusions and/or make recommendations. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12level for 52 weeks. For the GS-12, you must have been at the GS-11 level for 52 weeks.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
