Supervisory Loan Servicing Specialist

Current federal employees applying for a promotion opportunity must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirement of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled. GS-14 Level:
Applicants must possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level; or its non-Federal equivalent that demonstrates experience which reflects the ability to directly and indirectly supervise subordinate employees; assign, direct and review their work; plan and carry out training and development; solve problems related to the work supervised; expert knowledge of RD pre-foreclosure and acceleration policies, procedures, precedents, and processes and related laws and State foreclosure variances applicable; the ability to review and analyze hardship situations and financial information and decide, recommend, and counsel on the best course of action; to ensure acceleration and pre-foreclosure records and actions taken in the final disposition of delinquent mortgages are compliant with Federal, state, and RD regulatory requirements; and to conduct the final legal analysis and action required to move a seriously delinquent account into the foreclosure process. There is no substitution of education for experience at this grade level. NOTE:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
