High school education or equivalent; or high school senior student working in school Cooperative Education Program.
Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
Basic math skills required.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Previous Teller Experience preferred.
Previous New Accounts experience preferred.
Must be extremely sales and service orientated.
Ability to travel from branch to branch when needed.
Must be very flexible and adapt well to different surroundings and people.
Great communication skills.
Job Description: This full-time position is located at the Des Peres facility with Central Bank of St. Louis.
The individual in this position will be responsible for providing timely and high quality support to the retail areas. They will act as a floater for short and long term coverage in the teller, new accounts, or safe deposit in any of our branches. When coverage is not needed they will be housed in Clayton and assist with projects and other administrative duties as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Perform all basic daily teller functions including deposits, withdrawals, cash checks, TTL processing, cash advances, selling money orders, cashiers checks, travelers checks and savings bonds.
Maintain an average or higher level of performance with regards to the Teller Performance guidelines and Teller Performance Standards.
Meet and /or exceed all Central Bank of St. Louis referral, sales and service goals.
Understand and adhere to all security-related policies and procedures with regards to cash handling, customer services and internal auditing.
Understand and enforce all bank policies, procedures, and governmental regulations to include BSA.
Have a thorough knowledge of the on-line teller system, banking system and new accounts system.
Perform all other job-related duties as they are assigned by the Supervisor or Branch Manager.
Open and close consumer and commercial accounts.
Prepare signature cards, resolutions, and other documents pertinent to the sales process.
Accept account maintenance requests from customers and complete necessary documentation.
Other Duties as assigned.
Travel from various branches to complete job assignments.
Understands and complies with all banking regulations, especially BSA/ AML as it pertains to job duties and responsibilities.

Assist others in the department/facility as needed and/or directed. May be assigned vault and/or ATM balancing responsibilities. May be assigned new account responsibilities. May be assigned other duties and responsibilities. May be assigned work or training at other assigned locations.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
