Resource Placement Representative
Description
Role Purpose:
The Resource Placement Representative works in collaboration with nurse leaders to maximize staffing efficiency through the precise placement of the right staff to the right place at the right time.
Responsibilities:
Exhibits professional customer service skills.
Deploys core and contingency staff based on sub-specialty needs, nurse/patient ratios, level of criticality, skill mix and peer group gaps.
Collaborates with nurse leaders to finalize staffing recommendations.
Cancels or reduces staff, if necessary, based on client policy and staffing strategies.
Utilizes Smart Square tools as it relates to deploying core and contingency staff.
Maintains a timeline of duties and completes projects as needed.
Exhibits positive interpersonal and communication skills when working with groups and individuals.
Maintains high standards of confidentiality.
Performs other duties as assigned as related to position.
Qualifications
Minimum
Qualifications:
High school or equivalent (GED) required
Computer literacy, including working knowledge of MS Office Suite software applications.
Technologically savvy including working knowledge of MS Office Suites software applications.
Demonstrates the philosophy of the sponsoring religious congregations, through SSM Health Care values, and tenets of integrated health care while giving leadership and innovations of the health care ministry.
Adaptability: Maintaining effectiveness in varying environments and with different tasks, responsibilities and people. Analysis - Securing and comparing relevant information from a variety of sources, identifying key issues and relationships including cause and effect. Attention to Details - Maintaining accuracy along the entire continuum of task or project completion. Decision-Making/Judgment - Making timely decisions and taking corresponding actions in consideration of available resources, constraints and organizational values.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred. Background in health care and/or medical terminology preferred.
