Human Resources Generalist

Position Purpose:
Provide human resources support, including employee relations, employee leaves, recruitment and employment, various reports and initiatives.
Research and provide information and responses to employees related to HR policies, practices and programs
Provide coaching to supervisors in resolution of personnel problems and discipline
Investigate employee relations issues and make recommendations on resolutions
Provide interface for benefits and compensation programs
Coordinate and communicate leave of absences with employees
Support employment activities to ensure qualified employees are recruited and hired, including reviewing equity for salary
Review performance and compensation related forms to mitigate potential risks
Coordinate and conduct orientation for new hires, management and temporary employees
Develop, run and analyze various data and reports and recommend improvements
Coordinate termination processing and conduct exit interviews
Represent the company in employee legal challenges, workers compensation claims, unemployment insurance claims and HR compliance charges
Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures and their dissemination through employee booklets, communications, and/or meetings
Education/
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field. 4 years of human resources experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
