We have a full-time permanent opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst III to work onsite for our client located in Clayton, MO. This is a great opportunity for career growth working withinthe Healthcare Payer space. Successfulcandidates should have heavy experience in statistics and in accounting& finance to provide analytic data needsof the business unit.
Our client is now one of the largest providers of Medicaid,Medicare Advantage and other government-sponsored and commercial programs inthe country. They provide access to affordable healthcare to morethan 11 million members nationwide.
Job Description:
Provideadvanced analytical support for business operations in all or some of thefollowing areas: claims, provider data, member data, clinical data, HEDIS,pharmacy, external reporting
Extract, load, model, and reconcilelarge amounts of data across multiple system platforms and sources
Review data to determine operationalimpacts and needed actions; elevate issues, trends, areas for improvement andopportunities to management
Develop reports and deliverables formanagement
Model data using MS Excel, Access,SQL, and/or other data ware house analytical tools
Ensure compliance with federal andstate deliverable reporting requirements by performing data quality audits andanalysis
Assist with training and mentoringother Data Analysts
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related fieldfinance, economics, statistics or equivalent experience
3 years of statistical analysis andbusiness process analysis
Healthcare,Managed Care, or Insurance Data Modeling / Risk Adjustment Analysiswould be a big plus. May consider someone with experience in the financialindustry as well
Healthcare Data Modeling experience required
Strong SQL and Microsoft Office applications, includingExcel and Access
Must be able to communicateeffectively and be able to provide insight based on results and trends
Experience managing projects orheavy involvement in project implementation

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
