Position SummaryThe Senior Financial Analyst works within Edgewell Personal Care's Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) group, and is responsible for providing planning, forecasting, analysis, reporting, and accounting support, with a primary focus on support to the Information Technology function. As part of the Corporate FP&A team, this position will work cross functionally with colleagues at varying levels and partner with IT Finance leadership to execute key projects in support of Corporate and Finance & Controllership initiatives. This position offers exposure to accounting, finance, executive-level analysis and presentations, and interaction with colleagues at all levels of the organization. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who possesses excellent analytical skills, strong written and oral communication skills, and the desire to grow.
AccountabilitiesProvides financial planning and analysis support for the Global IT function including direct support to the Chief Information Officer and his global team.
Prepare and present monthly presentations to support functional executives, including the Chief Information Officer
Coordinate and support the development of the Annual Business Plan for the IT function as well as other corporate overhead cost centers/departments
Perform monthly close activities specific to overheads, including interaction with cost center managers to determine the need for month end accruals and bill-outs and preparation of journal entries
Analyze actual operating results for overhead areas and provide variance analysis and reporting to department heads and Finance Management
Perform monthly overhead forecast process including review of trends and identification of risks and opportunities and working closely with cost center owners to ensure timely and accurate forecast submissions
Ensure rate setting for expense allocation is relevant and contributes to a clear picture of how support is provided to global functions
Provide Finance support to cross-functional projects in support of Corporate initiatives
Ensure projects and related expenses receive proper accounting treatment and are accounted for consistently across multiple locations
Participate in special projects as needed under the direction of the Corporate FP&A team.
Required Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, advanced degree and / or certification preferred
Minimum 2-4 years' experience in finance or accounting, including 1 - 3 years' forecasting and budgeting
Hands-on systems/application knowledge:
o1-3 years of ERP system experience (SAP preferred)
oAdvanced in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications
Ability to analyze large amounts of data and summarize into clearly communicated conclusions and recommendations
Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate financial concepts to non-finance colleagues
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
Ability to meet critical deadlines and work overtime when needed

Preferred Skills and ExperienceExperience with Oracle Essbase and Hyperion Planning
Experience with IT overheads and capital spending
Public accounting experience
Exposure to companies with a global presence and multiple locations

Financial support to the Information Technology function and leadership Team

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
