Position SummaryThis position is responsible for providing high level service to the HR Director and corresponding client groups. The Senior Human Resources Associate is expected to handle a full range of non-routine complex situations and administrative duties. This position will report directly into the HR Director who supports Information Technology, Global Business Services, Finance, and Controllership teams globally.
AccountabilitiesServe as first point of contact for day-to-day questions regarding HR policies/practices, and escalate complex inquires to HR Director as appropriate
Maintains strict confidentiality with respect to sensitive issues, records, reports and other related items
Coordinate and execute all aspects of onboarding new colleagues
Demonstrate project management skills by managing several competing priorities and projects simultaneously
Prepare and participate in important meetings and/or special projects such as, but not limited to:
Performance Management, Succession Planning, Talent Review (9 box), and various training programs
Format and produce various correspondence, forms, reports, presentations, etc. with speed and accuracy, following company procedures. Uses tact and judgment in contact with internal and external colleagues of all levels.
Assist with the recruitment process including communication with Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers, coordination of internal talent moves and team changes
Collaborate with other Senior HR Associates from other locations to promote efficiency and information sharing
Maintain accurate data entry of colleague records into the HRIS software
Strong knowledge of Human Resources policies, procedures and practices required for answering colleague and supervisor questions.
Process a variety of Human Resources related paperwork and forms.
Create new policies/procedures and places in proper format, as well as edits existing policies and procedures.
Coordinate training and materials. Provides meeting design support.
Gathers and analyzes company-wide information for monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports.
Delivers training to colleagues
Troubleshoots and resolve various colleague issues
Coordinates company-related activities and meetings as needed
Files documents/records
Perform all other duties as assigned by the HR Director
Required Skills and Experience3 - 5 years of previous HR support experience
Working knowledge of HRIS programs
A High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Detail oriented
Ability to work effectively with colleagues of all levels
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment and the ability to adapt quickly to change
Strong sense of urgency
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Drive and desire to question/challenge conventional standards with new ideas and approaches
Excellent organizational, prioritization and follow-up skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Ability to travel periodically to other offices and plant locations such as Milford, CT, Shelton, CT, Dover, DE, etc. (approximately 10-15% of the time)

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
