Position SummaryEdgewell is seeking to hire an IT Manager, Project Portfolio Management in our IT Services area that will serve as a lead of the Program Management Office. This role will be providing oversight to the governance, tools and reporting that support PMO and IT department management activities.
AccountabilitiesDevelop and improve Project Management methodology and Continuous Improvement tools.
Mentor Project Leads on the best Project Management and Continuous practices.
Prepare and deliver Project Management and Continuous Improvement training content to IT and business colleagues across locations that have direct involvement in project execution.
Track the project portfolio, facilitates review meetings, prepare meeting minutes and follow up on open items as needed.
Advise management of the project status and problems, or potential problems, on a regular basis.
Assists with design, implements, evaluate and audits project management processes and templates for the project management office (PMO).
Compiles metrics relating to department service levels and IT project success, project attributes, and individual productivity and adherence to defined processes.
May track costs and performance, service levels and other metrics required to ensure department and project goals and objectives are met.
Serves as a lead to department management, staff and project leaders to educate and assist them with implementing project management processes and making improvement/changes.
Ensures project control systems are in place and integrates project data for decision makers.
Organizes and publishes project-related documentation in various sources.
Coordinate the efforts of the functional departments in multiple locations, as required, to ensure that the project is conducted in accordance with the planned requirements and budgets.
Develop project schedules and direct modifications based on root cause analysis and schedule constraints.
Provide regular project status updates to IT Leadership Team and Sr. Management with action/recovery plans as appropriate.
Anticipate potential schedule delays including those stemming from risks, multi-project resources and integration conflicts and initiates plans for corrective actions.
Perform special projects as required.
Required Skills and ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience
5 to 7 years of project support/management experience
Proven track record of delivering SAP projects
Ability to manage/govern 20 to 30 projects in the portfolio
Proficiency in MS SharePoint and MS Office tools; including MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Visio
Working knowledge of Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK)
Ability to provide basic and intermediate level training in Project Management
Preferred Skills and ExperienceMaster's degree or MBA is preferred
Excellent analytical ability to quickly gather facts and draw conclusions about potential new opportunities
Excellent oral, presentation and written communications skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent knowledge of business process, procedures and terminology
Ability to work under pressure
A continuous improvement mindset
Working Relationships & Environment Position reports to Director, Enterprise Architecture & IT Services and works closely with IT leadership, management and team members globally. Also, partners with business functional leads along with IT Management.
Ability to travel - domestic and international, potential 20% travel based on project initiatives.
Occasional virtual meetings may be required to facilitate working with resources in the EMEA, LATAM, and APAC regions.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
