POSITION
Summary:
Lead Consultant Applications with experience in SAP Business Objects, Business Warehouse (BW), and Microsoft Business Intelligence reporting applications.
This position reports to the Team Lead - Reporting Services and is responsible for working with Nestle peers including the Regional Business Solutions, Local Globe Organization and business departments to identify, maintain and enhance reporting solutions in GLOBE and local reporting developments from a functional and technical standpoint. Lead Consultants in this role have in-depth technical experience related to SAP Business Objects, BW, and Microsoft Reporting technologies. The incumbent must take end user requirements identified by business partners and recommend solutions related to reporting architecture and front-end delivery. In addition, the incumbent guides support activities related to production support and the implementation of business intelligence initiatives. This includes analyzing and understanding technical challenges, identifying and executing data analysis, support execution, and resolving technical issues related to the business warehouse and front-end report delivery.
The Lead Consultant is a leadership role. The individual occupying this position leads the Reporting Services Report and Dashboard development team in support of all reporting requirements and provides expertise in resolving identified data issues and problems. The candidate will ensure that a design being implemented is inline with best practices from a technical and architectural perspective. This position requires the ability to assess objectives for assigned initiatives/projects and the ability to work under demanding circumstances and tight deadlines. In addition, the incumbent collaborates with project managers to ensure that the delivered solutions match the functionality and requirements specified.
The individual in this position is competent in SAP Business Objects, BW, and Microsoft business intelligence tools. This position requires excellent communications, team contribution, strong technical skills, and accountability for the quality of efforts and deliverables.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
Lead Department Business Analysts/Developers
Lead, train, and develop department business developers and analysts in all functions below under Perform Business Analysis and Front-end Development
Monitor and achieve department objectives relating to project and enhancement obtainment and support levels of agreement with NPPC business partners.
Perform Business Analysis and Front-end Development
Gather and document requirements from end-users, perform analysis, and assist in the design, testing and implementation of new/changed functionality for SAP Business Warehouse (BW) and Business Objects (BO) reporting across SAP functional areas.
Facilitate requirements gathering with key business stakeholders by using excellent inquiry and communication skills.
Influence and propose approaches and methodologies to properly align work with process.
Analyze data and processes in order to recommend and implement reporting solutions that support the functions.
Develop reports and dashboards using SAP Business Objects, BW, and Microsoft technologies
Create tickets, development requests and other documents required by the Nestle Globe Center to request work from the Regional Business Solutions group.
Provide end-user support for all reporting activities using SAP Business Objects, BW, and Microsoft reporting technologies
Provide Architecture and System Design Services
Deliver required system architecture and design services to support business intelligence requirements in coordination with other internal and external groups as required.
Participate in future planning and develop technical and business roadmaps for reporting systems at NPPC
Coordinate with the Regional Business Solutions (RBS) Business Analytics team
Track and ensure open tickets and developments progress from ideation through Production
Work with the RBS on production issue resolution as required
Provide feedback and recommendations on issues and improvements with the existing GLOBE solution
Create and Present status to IS/IT Management and Key Stakeholders
Communicate all issues, risks, concerns and status to senior management, business partners and other IS departments in a timely manner.
Possess Consumer Goods industry knowledge across a diversity of business areas (Customer Service, Financial, Sales & Marketing)
Perform all other duties as assigned

Bachelor s degree or higher
Experience (Years/Type):

years of Business Analysis / Intelligence experience in mid to large IT department or within a business department
5
years experience working with SAP BW and Business Objects reporting
4
years of Trade Management reporting experience.
