The e-business consultant role within the Wells Fargo Advisors Marketing Department is responsible for delivering front-end code, design, and content architecture and organization in support of our department's intranet site. This role is a key day-to-day contributor to the success of our team and the firm's 15,000 financial advisors. Responsibilities include:
Providing e-business management and strategic focus for marketing and creative initiatives
Establishing strategy based on assessment of the competitive/customer environment
Recommending aspects of website design, including functionality, graphics and content to support positioning and communications
Managing all publishing and email distribution for the department to support field communications
Building strong partnerships in the department and across the firm to meet goals and maintain branding and publishing standards
Other duties as assigned, including back-up support for the National Marketing Team
The ideal candidate will have a mixture of design skills, knowledge of how to organize content in an intuitive and easy-to-access way, and great project management skills. The candidate should demonstrate:
Proven knowledge of publishing standards and information and content architecture
The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, effectively manage priorities and communicate progress.
Experience working on large-scale web initiatives and image optimization
Understanding of Content Management Systems

years e-business experience.
Minimum
Qualifications:

years' marketing experience in digital product management
2
years' experience in internet/ intranet-based business systems or e-business consulting
Experience with Documentum, a content management system and email blast communications
Prior experience working in a digital or internet-based group with exposure to a standard website architecture
Ability to work and set priorities independently, without direct supervision
Proven experience in problem solving, attention to detail, and root cause analysis in a technical environment.
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations
Excellent communications and collaboration skills
Proven ability to develop digital strategies
Hardworking and enthusiastic self-starter who enjoys working with a team
Aggressive learner
Preferred Skills:
Bachelor's degree
SmartStation, EMX and Lyris experience
