Title: Cyber Security Functional Specialist/Advisor Location: Missouri-St. Louis
Key Role:
Support the client's Cyber Security Cell with 24x7x365 event monitoring, event investigating, and the activities and equipment needed to safeguard the client's computer infrastructure and oversee the contractor team as the team lead. Provide day-to-day management of contractor personnel to meet program requirements and support the overall management of the program to ensure 24x7x365 monitoring for potential compromise, intrusion, deficiency, significant event, or threat to the client's security posture. Oversee team assessment of intrusion risks, develop detailed recommendations for the implementation of sustainment upgrades, recapitalization, and reconfigurations resulting from the technology insertion, services planning, and programming functions, and produce quarterly briefings detailing conditions of security systems, mitigation, and plans. Maintain responsibility for the collection of security systems metrics and recommend opportunities for continual improvement, including industry best practices and changes to the security systems and the reporting process. Maintain and develop new documentation, including SOPs, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), training plans, technical documentation, meeting minutes, status reports, and briefings, evaluate, modify, or create Training Program SOPs for security system analysts, and develop a training and certification maintenance program for contractor personnel. Provide Program Management Review (PMR), After Action Reports (AARs), daily network status coordination meetings, and monthly cost reporting and maintain appropriate staffing and expertise levels to provide services.
Basic
Qualifications:
-15 years of experience in a professional work environment with at 6 years of those years of experience in incident monitoring
-Experience with Intrusion Analyst
-Experience with Network Packet Traffic Analysis
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree or 4 years of experience with Cyber security may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree or MA or MS degree or 2 years of experience with Cyber security may be substituted for a Master's degree
-DoD 8570 Management Level III Certification
-SourceFire Certified Professional (SFCP)

Qualifications:
-Experience with Cyber Intelligence briefing preparation and presentation
-Experience with leading an Incident Monitoring Team
-Experience with working in a Security Operations Center
-Experience with network infrastructure architecture and implementation
-Experience with systems engineering and process improvement
-MA or MS degree in CS, IT, Information Science, Information Systems, or a field related to science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
-ISC2 recognized professional Certifications
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
