Senior Developer (C# and ASP.NET) Desired Skills: Name Description: POSITION DESCRIPTION The Senior Developer and Team Lead will provide key contributions to the development of primarily web- based application, including defining architecture, analysing requirements, envisioning and evaluating solution alternatives, developing applications and finally implementing the solution. The successful candidate is expected to consistently produce reliable, scalable, high-performing technology solutions using modern design and development patterns. The Senior Developer will be part of a strong IT team and will be expected to effectively with them and key stakeholders. RESPONSIBILITIES - Design and develop new features and/or maintain existing applications developed on C# and VB.NET - Develop code and supporting documentation - Work in a team or individually to develop, test, and deploy software changes - Work with different departments and customer experience manager to understand new requirements and implement them - Provide operational support when necessary to ensure continuity of operations - Work the product backlog of features and bugs - Provide input on new designs and architecture as needed - Develop a well-tested, high performance, scalable web application - Stay current on new technologies and best practices - Engage with business stakeholders to identify strategic and tactical requirements; develop specific plans to advance the organization forward using technology - Perform other duties as assigned and required. SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/COMPETENCIES Experience with ASP.NET MVC 3 and above, Javascript, jQuery, AJAX Experience designing, developing, and deploying web based applications with ASP.NET 2.0 or higher using C# (At least 8-12 years) Strong database skills Comfortable with Object Oriented programming and working with n-tier architectures. Understanding of software testing and the need to produce high quality software. Ability to work in a fluid, fast-paced work environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Strong quality assurance and accuracy focus. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in time-sensitive situations. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to give direction and offer process education to others. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in
computer
