Network Engineer (NOC) Job Network Engineer (NOC) needed for a contract opportunity for Yoh's client located in St. Louis, MO. The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess: - NOC Experience - lab Servers and network cabling Experience - Technical documentation experience What You'll Be Doing: - Work with Lab Engineering team on the installation and implementation of lab equipment and networks for lab testing. - Maintain lab Servers and network cabling consistent with lab standards. - Assist with developing implementation guides and Method of Procedure documentation. - Maintain network documentation in accordance with company standards. - Assist QA team with set up and provisioning of video set-top boxes for test projects. - Maintain lab inventory. What you bring to the Game! - Experience with the installation and implementation of Servers and network typically used in a Cable Operator lab environment. - Knowledge with the implementation and operation of a wide range of technologies including DOCSIS modems, RF networks, Switched Digital Video systems, Video on Demand systems, and video set-top box customer premise equipment. - Strong interpersonal skills necessary to work in a professional, cooperative manner to successfully interact with members of cross-functional engineering, product and QA test teams. - Proficient using PC, Internet and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
