Histology Laboratory performs a wide variety of routine histotechnologic procedures & histochemical stains.
Our Immunohistochemistry area performs over 100 antibodies on both tissue sections & cytology specimens.
Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Responsible for delivering precise, timely, and accurate laboratory results.
Responsibilities Responsible for performing specimen preparation, staining and screening of specimens submitted for cytological examination.
Screens accurately GYN and non-GYN cytology samples and may assist with fine needle aspirations on/off campus.
Performs quality controls for all equipment and troubleshoots malfunctioning instrumentation as necessary.
Maintains staining rows and records daily Quality Control of stains and technical quality of cytology preparations.
Minimum Requirements Education Bachelor's Degree - Physical/Life Science/related Experience.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
