Position Summary
Our laboratory studies immune responses to viral infections and vaccinations. Our research aims to understand better how to develop more effective therapeutic strategies against respiratory viral infections. We utilize well-established genetic tools and cutting-edge, high-throughput technology to identify the molecular and cellular factors that dictate the breadth and durability of immune responses to vaccination.

Working Conditions
This position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. The individual must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals.
Salary Range
Base pay is commensurate with experience.

Preferred Qualifications
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated abilities with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective organization skills and ability to prioritize workload.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and communicate with laboratory staff and investigators.
- Ability to maintain complete and organized records/reports.
- Working knowledge of computer software and general lab equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree. Candidates with additional education and experience are encouraged to apply.
- Prior significant experience with at least one, preferably two, of the following techniques is required:
- Cell culture
- Working with mice
- Flow cytometry
- Handling and processing of human specimens
- Cloning
- Protein expression and purification
