This position occupies a key role in the manufacturing team of the Motion NEMA Motors. The Maintenance Planner must be able to perform these functions in a manner that does not compromise their safety or the safety of coworkers. The Maintenance Planner must be able to perform these tasks for a minimum of 8 hours per day, 5 days a week. If an employee is unable to perform these essential functions it is their responsibility to bring this to the attention of their manager or Human Resource Manager. Your responsibilities
Evaluate Computerized Maintenance System (CMMS SAP) work orders for labor and material requirements
Create detailed job instructions for work order completion
Develop bills of material and equipment histories in SAP.
Plan jobs through job site review, priority scheduling and parts
Develop Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) strategy through 80/20 analysis, review of PM inspection data, and detailed evaluation of completed work orders
Analyze repair parts and material inventory and manage critical spares
Provide technical review of obsolete repair parts and alternative solutions
Your background
Bachelor's Degree with minimum 0-2 years OR Associate's Degree with minimum 2 years experience OR High School Diploma / GED with minimum 4 years experience.
Prefer at least 5 years experience in manufacturing, knowledgeable of machinery parts etc
Technical experience in maintenance would be very beneficial
Must possess the ability to become proficient with the computerized maintenance management software (SAP), Microsoft Word and Excel
Capable of developing detailed preventative maintenance plans and job/project plans
Must be able to work daily and weekend overtime as needed (some on short notice)
Must be willing to attend classes for additional job related training
Ability to understand and follow all ABB safety policies, safety training and hazard communication information. This includes but is not limited to wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) such as:
safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, proper gloves and safety sleeves when required
Lift and or carry up to 25 pounds
Frequently grip with hands, turn, push/pull and bend, along with occasional reaching above shoulder level
Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of time
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
