Job Description:
As an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA), you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of our Oracle database systems. You will work closely with our IT team and other stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain database solutions that meet the needs of our organization.NO C2C VENDORS - US CITIZEN / GREENCARD ONLY Key
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software and related products. Design and implement database solutions to support business requirements. Monitor and optimize database performance, including tuning queries, indexes, and database parameters. Implement and maintain database security, including user authentication, authorization, and auditing. Backup and restore databases to ensure data integrity and availability. Plan and execute database migrations, upgrades, and patches. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner. Develop and maintain documentation, including database schemas, configurations, and procedures. Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to support application development and deployment. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in database administration.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA), including installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle database systems. Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Experience with Oracle database security features and best practices. Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming languages. Familiarity with database backup and recovery techniques. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus.
