Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Manager of Bill Pay and Bookkeeping to oversee and optimize financial processes within our organizationThis pivotal role involves leading the team responsible for accurate and timely bill payments and maintaining comprehensive, accurate financial records.

Essential ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the team responsible for bill payment processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and regulationsDevelop and implement efficient procedures for bill payment, bookkeeping, and financial record maintenance utilizing QuickBooksOversee the reconciliation of bank statements as well as accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepanciesMonitor and prepare monthly financial statements and ad hoc reporting as required by Partners of the firm for their clients' needsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance financial efficiency, and support organizational goals for the needs of clientsMonitor cash flow and financial transactions, providing reports and analysis to support decision-makingStay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to bill pay and bookkeeping, and implement necessary updatesQualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferredExperience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functionsProficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledgeable in fundamental accounting practices and principlesStrong leadership skills with experience in effectively managing and motivating a teamAdditional InformationMoneta is committed to providing the best possible care for our employees; part of this care includes offering comprehensive benefits that enhance the wellbeing of employees and their families:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
