Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Translate business and functional requirements to create appropriate test documentation (scripts, test plans, etc.) and acceptance criteria using the Gherkin language. Develop, execute, and maintain JAVA code and automated test scripts for regression, API, and usability tests. Develop test automation strategies and approaches that incorporate multiple phases of testing. Maintain automated test environments in a continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) framework. Manage and maintain quality-related metrics like unit test coverage and testing progress. Lead the creation, review, and maintenance of project testing documentation in accordance with department policies, procedures, and Treasury standards. Log defects and enhancements into Jira. Adhere to team testing and security standards. Assist in manual testing and UAT preparation as needed. Collaborate with the team and all members of the Scrum team to ensure the appropriate implementation of requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree or commensurate experience. 3-5 years of experience in automated testing. Highly developed competency with Selenium HQ. Experience with Java. Experience with Bamboo or comparable scripting language. Experience with JIRA and Xray is beneficial. Understanding of creating reusable test data. Experience with API testing. Experience with Eclipse or IntelliJ and experience with a source control tool. knowledgeable of Gherkin language. Experience with Cucumber is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills and written communications. High standards of confidentiality; ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and trust.
