Server Support Specialist (Hybrid)
STRATEGIC STAFFING SOLUTIONS (S3) HAS AN OPENING! S3 is seeking a Server Support Specialist for one of our longstanding partners! This position is onsite in downtown St.
Louis, MO and operates on a 7am to 7pm rotating schedule.
Scheduled weekend work can be done remotely.
Training and onboarding will take place the first 4-6 weeks on first shift (8am - 4pm, Monday - Friday).

Role Summary/
Responsibilities:
Manages the daily operations and support of the core enterprise infrastructure.
Responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, documentation and resolution of incidents including Windows, Linux, and HPUX servers.
Responsible for monitoring, alerting and triage on core infrastructure including network related events.
Provide support for Storage and Data Protection systems, perform file and system restores, and triage issues with storage related issues.
Provide phone support, updating customers and vendors that call in, and providing top notch customer service.
Qualifications:
Associates Degree preferred 2 - 4 years of relevant experience Certification preferred:
MCSA, RHCE, or equivalent Experience with server patching using a variety of tools including Satellite, Ivanti, and Tanium.
Experience supporting server infrastructure utilizing VMware, RDP, DNS, and Ops Bridge monitoring.
Experience with Palo Alto firewalls is preferred.
