BR&T is looking for Nondestructive Evaluation Engineers to join our team in Berkeley, Missouri, located in the greater Saint Louis area.
We are looking for a broad range of experience, including Associate, Mid-Level, or Lead level NDE Engineers.
The Midwest Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) and Fleet Support team is part of the Boeing Research & Technology department.
We are an engineering team supporting space, commercial and defense air vehicles programs such as:
787, 777X, F-15, F-18, AV-8B, T-7A, T-45, MQ-25, KC-46, P-8, B-52, B-1, KC-135, Executive Transport platforms, Commercial Crew Transportation, Space Launch, and weapon systems.
Our team is responsible for NDE Engineering supporting of pre-production, current production, and post-production efforts.
Along with supporting the aforementioned space commercial and defense programs the team provides supplier standup/certification, fabrication support/trouble-shooting and fleet support activities across the Boeing value stream.
The team also conducts NDE research and development for both internal and external customers.
Position
Responsibilities:
Apply nondestructive evaluation (NDE) methods/approaches, such as acoustic, electromagnetic, thermal, optical and radiologic principles, in developing new and novel methods/approaches to address affordability and supportability objectivesDevelop new sensor technology and testing systems for nondestructive evaluation (NDE) applied to manufacturing and support areasDefine requirements for tools, equipment, materials, parts and processes used in the engineering design, manufacture and maintenance of products and approve their useLead development of specifications and other documents to manage the deployment of tools, equipment, materials, parts and processesMaintain compliance with contractual and regulatory obligationsEvaluate emerging technologies for potential application to address business needsLeads development, validation and qualification of new tools, equipment, materials, parts and processes to meet requirementsManages test and audit programs to qualify suppliers to applicable requirementsUses project management tools to meet cost, technical, and schedule requirementsIncorporates environmental health and safety, LEAN and Quality principles into (1) materials and processes, (2) research, design and qualification, (3) work procedures and (4) labs and office areasSupports the Team Lead and work statement, assist defining strategies and/or provides consultationBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry9
years of experience in engineeringExperience with nondestructive evaluation processes (e.
g.
, ultrasonic testing, radiography, eddy current testing, and penetrant inspection)Active / Current Secret U.
S.
Security ClearancePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
