Responsibilities:
Work within our Air Dominance Organization as part of the F-15 Systems Engineering Team.
Provide system integration services to US Navy, Air Force and international military partners.
Systems engineering means integrating performance, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability and human systems into all of our products and solutions.
Examples of Programs you may support:
F-15SG F-15EX F-15 International Programs Responsible for providing systems engineering leadership throughout the life cycle on the F-15SG Program.
Coordinate with domestic and foreign customers, engineering leadership, the program office, and various engineering teams.
Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.
Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to lead activities to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
Lead others to evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
Lead analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
Lead analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
Lead, develop, maintain and identify improvements to the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risks, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
Ensure a culture of proactive technical oversight, risk management and issue resolution.
Ensure an integrated system engineering approach and build strong relationships with customers and other functions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry combined with 9
years of relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Interim Secret Clearance Experience collecting requirements and defining modifications.
9 or more years of engineering experience and leading engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience leading Systems Engineering development from System Requirements Reviews through PDRs, CDRs, FTMARRs and SVRs.
Experience working with F-15 or a comparable fighter aircraft.
Experience/domain knowledge of system architecture, requirements, interface definition, verification, and validation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to listen, assimilate, evaluate and summarize.
Sound ability to communicate with partners and customer at all levels.
Experience with implementation and maintenance of systems engineering tools, schedules and metrics (i.
e.
Earned value management, DOORs, CAMEO).
