year contract with possible extension 1st shift Monday-Friday 6am-2:
30pm 2nd shift Monday-Thursday (7% shift differential) The manager wants candidates to have a good understanding of the process.
They will be starting out as packaging operator (3-5 months) and then move into this role as a Downstream Operations Specialist Must have:
2-4 years SAP experience Understanding of pharmaceuticals Thorough understanding of math Education - HS Diploma and 2 year degree or 4-6 years working experience Interviews will be onsite Physical required
Job Description:
Key Accountabilities Stage, fill (manually or semi-automatically), cap, label and over pack liquid, powder and lyophilized products per approved downstream specifications while utilizing all required safety equipment.
Complete appropriate documentation per ISO procedures and deliver products to inventory.
o Fill, cap and label chemical products.
o Follow all quality and safety procedures.
o Support quality systems.
o Train others and work in a team setting.
Scope of People Responsibility o Anticipate and communicate bottlenecks and malfunction issues that inhibit process flow.
o Perform minor maintenance and troubleshoot issues with the fill line/process.
o Completely and accurately communicate line status, problems, and issues to incoming shift/team lead or supervisor.
o Support Process Improvement efforts Education and Work Experience Basic Requirements o 2 Year Degree o Proficiency in basic mathematics such as unit conversions, multiplication/division, and calculation using formulas.
o Basic computer literacy o Experience with computer systems related to business applications.
o 2 years of direct manufacturing experience in a GMP/Pharmaceutical or related industry o Demonstrated experience in 5S and Lean environment o Experience in SAP ERP or relevant MRP system o Demonstrate technical skills, curiosity, and problem-solving skills.
o Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
o Ability to multitask and function as an effective team member.
