Responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.
This person is involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution.
The Quality Assurance Test Lead works on projects of high complexity within one or more development environments and on multiple programs/systems as a test lead.
Solid experience of CSG billing background.
The Quality Assurance Test Lead is responsible for leading onshore and offshore people.
This person is considered a subject matter expert for a single program/system.
He/she has the ability to lead a team through effective delegation, training, and motivation.
The Quality Assurance Test Lead has the ability to track multiple test efforts simultaneously and to be able to synthesize the results in fast paced environment Proficient in using HP Test Suite or other Testing Tools.
Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners.

QA Lead for Order Confirmation QA track has been transitioned to separate team.
Position needed for QA Lead capable of leading the entire Order Confirmation QA team while interacting with the Business , Project Management team, allocating tasks to onshore and offshore team members with a good working knowledge of systems like Agent OS, SXAPI, MSA , UCC Hub Platform and CSG Billing systems.
Typical day in the role/task breakdown %:
Responsible for analyzing requirement documents and design test cases by using different Test Design techniques.
-10% To work closely with Development team to understand the design document and also work closely with designers to clarify ambiguities.
-10% The role requires to work with offshore team, in providing updates, clarifying any questions, get status from offshore team and to resolve any roadblocks.
- 10% Also responsible to send daily status reports to all project stakeholders.
-20% Responsible to identify any risks and mitigate the risks.
10% The role requires good knowledge of Cable domain, with CSG billing system experience.
20% Attending Stand Up Calls - 10% Interacting with the extenal team like PMO, Dev , Temp Dev and BA - 10% Prepration of status reports for all stakeholders - 10% Planning and assigning the team members tasks for the day - 10% Top 3 Must-have hard skills:
Good knowledge around QA process and Quality Assurance LifeCycle and QA tools like Octane and ALM Good knowledge around CSG Billing systems and Cable, Telecom domain Good knowledge Agile Scrum model of delivery and tools like JIRA Billing Software Tester Lead Recommended Skills Agile Methodology Automation Billing Consulting Jira Leadership Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
