Summary:
Support software design, service architecture, database design, and compliancy and strategy in the delivery of high-quality software solutions for Charter's Mobile Development team.
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.
Maintain high standards of software quality.
Plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web- and desktop-based business applications.
Design and develop unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
Package and support deployment of releases.
Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications.
Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale.
Ensure overall compliance with company engineering standards, policies and procedures.
Support application architecture including F5 load balancing, Contract, Xray Security Tools, and Kerberos authentication.
Utilize Java, web technologies to build and maintain IT mobile back-office systems; and SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL including writing and evaluating T-SQL or PLSQL.
Utilize Agile development methodologies including Scrum to support in the development process.
Work will be performed at 12405 Powerscourt Dr, St.
Louis, MO 63131 and 13736 Riverport Dr, Maryland Heights, MO 63043.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
5 years of experience in:
Java and web technologies to develop and maintain mobile IT back office systems; SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL, which must include experience writing and evaluating T-SQL or PLSQL; and application architecture, which includes at least 1 year of experience with F5 load balancing, Contract, Xray Security Tools, and Kerberos authentication.
3 years of experience with Agile development methodologies including Scrum to support development process.
Hybrid office and remote arrangement is available.
