Summary The Business Analyst will work as a member of a team that supports all of Operations within StifelThe Business Analyst will engage and collaborate with both leadership and associates within Operations to understand, analyze, and document current business processes and proceduresThe Business Analyst will be expected to document and design improvement plans to optimize the processes and improve operational efficiency, highlighting potential technology solutionsEssential Duties & Responsibilities Develop an understanding of the data, applications, processes, and procedures utilized by OperationsAid in the development and implementation of solutions which optimize processesAssist with providing ongoing support for developed solutionsCreate complete and accurate test plans by identifying testing conditions, use cases, exception basis, and testing resources to ensure optimal effectiveness of improvement plans identifiedLearn to maintain strong communication with stakeholders and peers following up as needed to provide transparencyAcquire the ability to initiate, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with team members as well as internal and external technology partnersAlign to the framework established by leadership for advancing projects and initiativesAbility to develop problem solving skills to complete research from beginning to endStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail to minimize risk to the firmSound verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex subject matter in an understandable mannerExhibits the capacity to think strategically about efficient and effective way to solve complex issuesAbility to determine the appropriate course of action based on knowledge attained from various stakeholdersBasic understanding of financial industry terminology and conceptsEducation & Experience Minimum Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum Required:

years' of analytical experience within specific operations department or 5
