The successful candidate will manage troubleshooting and resolve critical technical issues within the data center, including switches, routers, and other large-scale networking gear.
Responsibilities:
Manage troubleshooting and resolve critical technical issues within the data center Install and maintain switches, routers, and other large-scale networking gear Configure and troubleshoot Linux OS-related issues Participate in on-call rotation to get to the data center during off hours Participate in disaster recovery mock drills and procedures Manage private cloud deployments.
Minimum
Qualifications:
You must meet these minimum qualifications to apply for this job 3 years of experience in working with computer systems and computer networks, specifically with the Linux operating system.
Ability to do physical work (lift compute servers, network switches, etc.
) Preferred
Qualifications:
Having as many of these specific qualifications is a plus, but transferable skills/experiences may be equally valuable Experience with field-based work in POPs and datacenters Experience in troubleshooting OS, network equipment, and software Experience troubleshooting hardware or network related issues using Linux-based tools Datacenter Operations Specialist Recommended Skills Health Care Project Management Clerical Works Scheduling (Project Management) Records Maintenance Customer Satisfaction Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
