Blend Tech/Operator/Filler
The Blend Tech/Operator/Filler will perform routine process operations related to the manufacture of chemical and personal care products:
weigh, mix, and formulate ingredients in an accurate, safe and timely manner.
The position requires accurate and complete documentation of all activities and ensuring product quality by adhering to various regulatory requirements and internal SOPs.
Ability to work individually as well as team settings.
We are now recruiting qualified candidates for a Blend Tech/Operator/Filler:
A Blend Tech/Operator/Filler responsibilities include:
Operation of forklifts, pumping, blending, and filling equipment.
Weighs material and pump ingredients into and out of blend tanks, mixing drums and totes.
Sanitizes all equipment, following batch records.
Calculates and accurately measures ingredients.
Accurately records production information and material usage on batch records Maintains production logs as necessary.
Conducts in-process quality checks and provides samples for the quality lab.
Monitors equipment performance and reports deficiencies.
Proper housekeeping of the work areas.
Good hygiene practices.
To be a successful candidate you must be able to push and pull full drums on a conveyor; Lift at least 50-75 pound bags, empty drums or filled pails; Climbing stairs or ladders repeatedly, walking, standing and operating a forklift or pallet jack; Move and connect 3 x 20' hoses; and withstand outside temperatures in winter or summer.
Persons that have any type of color blindness may be impaired for this type of duty.
Requirements:
High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma 6 months batching or mixing experience in a chemical, personal care products or related process.
Other Skills/Abilities:
Ability and willingness to learn and develop new processes.

Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft word and excel.
