The Human Resource Generalist provides high-level leadership and guidance to the organization?s HR operations.
Candidates most likely drawn to this position will have an influencing personality with attention to detail, an ability to formulate approaches and methodologies to implement responsibilities effectively and responsibly, the ability to draw connections among ideas, and the ability to work in a fast-paced organization.
The candidate will focus on accuracy and acceptance while also bringing an energy focused on recognizing staff and supporting them through change.
Duties ? Collaborates with executive leadership to define the organization?s long-term mission and goals; identifies ways to support this mission through talent recruitment, management, retention.
? Partner with supervisors and CEO on talent recruitment to include but not limited to:
drafting job descriptions, placing and managing advertisements, initial resume reviews, phone screenings, and assessments for Word, Excel, Outlook, and Leadership and Management.
? Partner with supervisors and CEO on talent management to include but not limited to:
utilization of a coaching and performance management platform (WorkDove), goal setting, Workplace Behaviors, performance objectives and KPIs, completion of performance appraisals led by supervisors, coaching and performance improvement plans, exit interviews, employee satisfaction, work culture, and overall best practices for HR.
? Work with CEO on fair and equitable compensation methodology and practices.
? Learn WorkDove and the tools it offers to supervisors and staff; serve as the point person to learn and/or implement new applications CCAMO may want to use.
? Oversee and manage employment documentation required for new hires and existing staff, review HR related documents or processes for employee related expenses, work related travel to include auto insurance and overnight travel requests, conduct annual background checks required by contracts; manage change in position forms, insurance paperwork, 401K plans, beneficiary information, staff emergency contact information, verification of annual review of job descriptions and maintain the company organization chart.
? Coordinate with appropriate staff the IT and equipment needs for new employees.
? Manage and update Workmen?s Compensation, be knowledgeable of and track employee leave time and professional development hours.
? Partner with identified staff on managing the ExpenseWire platform and conducting ExpenseWire training for staff.
? Understand and manage FTE allocations in partnership with Chiefs and CEO on a monthly basis.
? Manage payroll in a timely and efficient manner and maintain employee verification of payroll.
? Work with Chief Business Officer and CEO each October on employee health benefits and manage open enrollment; serve as point of contact with health benefits broker, manage claims resolutions, and serve as lead for employee health benefits plans including communicating benefits information to employees such as EAPs, health and wellness incentives.
? Monitor changing employment and compensation regulations to ensure all HR practices are legally compliant.
? Conduct annual review of personnel policies and procedures and work in partnership with CEO and board committee to update.
? Work with supervisors and/or Chiefs to draft new job descriptions including KPIs when applicable.
? Coordinate and oversee any administrative volunteers.
? Engage in the organization?s fundraising and friend-raising activities.
? Promote the Mission, Vision, Beliefs, and Values of CCAMO.
? Engage in other duties as assigned.
Requirements ? Bachelor?s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a similar discipline with 3
years of experience in HR, preferably in a recruitment role; or a minimum of 10 years of consistent work experience as an HR Generalist/Manager.
? Prior HR experience in a nonprofit organization and SHRM certified preferred.
? Understanding of local, state, and federal labor laws.
? Strict adherence to ethical standards.
? Effective communication and demonstrated ability for critical and analytical thinking.
? Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to inspire and build trust.
? Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
? Familiarity with recruitment and screening techniques and practices.
? Demonstrated experience working alongside executive leadership and a Board of Directors.
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR tools.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
