Louis, is seeking an experienced Resource Manager with an eye for detail and planning who builds strong relationships and employs a diplomatic communication style.
You have responsibility for the high-level view of how our staff are assigned to projects and reviewing capacity now and into the future.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a global view of resource capacity for all billable and non-billable employees.
Advise when (start/finish) and how (via internal and external resources) new project and company initiatives may be executed.
Use company integrated resource and project management system (workamajig) to manage resource availability (internal and external), global priorities (for both client and company initiatives) and the global capacity view Collaborate cross functionally to develop a strategy for resource forecasting Define and gather necessary inputs across departments in order to maintain capacity overview and forecast Work collaboratively with Account Managers to develop project timelines Maintain effective communications with agency teams to understand utilization, capacity, schedule changes, and upcoming resource availability.
Present resource forecasts to leadership including under/over utilization, new business pipeline allocation and resources needed to execute Lead internal teams and leaders in process improvement and staffing plans Develop and maintain documentation and end-user training for resource management processes and systems.
Contract management for freelance resources Qualifications Global resource management experience with 5
years of prior experience in a project or traffic management capacity.
Solid understanding of project management methodology.
Ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop and document resource management work plans and specifications, and allocate resources.
Experience with workamajig or other resource/project management systems is required.
Strong communication skills Strong risk management and problem solving skills Ability to support multiple work styles in the agency from accounts to artists.
