ACE teachers conduct group and individual instruction in the classroom and in the community to implement students' Individualized Education Programs (IEP), improve students' quality of life and prepare them to become active members of their community.
? Responsibilities Include:
Preparing and implementing the instructional process for students with IEP's.
Delivering instruction, through the use of curriculum materials and educational software.
Developing daily lesson plans and classroom schedules that reflect state and school requirements.
Collaborating with content teachers to provide instructional support and approved modification to the curriculum.
Implementing standards for student behavior in order to ensure a safe, secure and effective learning environment.
Providing a high degree of structure, clear expectations, and consistency.
Help students develop skills which build confidence and help them to be prepared for college, a career, for life - after high school.
Performing other duties as assigned.
? Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree or higher in education or a related field.
Meet state teaching certification and/or licensing requirements.
Experience working with at risk youth in an alternative education setting preferred.
Prior experience with curriculum development, differentiation and instruction in a classroom setting.
Solid motivational, problem solving, decision making and organizational skills.
Willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities and new initiatives.
Computer skills and knowledge of relevant technology.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
