Key
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with executive leadership to understand their data needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
The includes supporting leaders across the division including Sales, National Accounts, Finance, Operations, Talent, Category Management, Procurement, Marketing, Ecommerce, and IT.
Integrate and analyze data across multiple sources and large datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities to improve business performance or business processes.
Communicate these results and insights to key stakeholders and executives.
Build a suite of custom sales, procurement, and other strategic reports to measure the success of business plans.
Document detailed data and report specifications to ensure the accuracy and replicability of data-driven insights.
Develop and maintain standard definitions of KPIs and other performance metrics to be used across the division.
Build and publish insightful reports via online dashboards, spreadsheets, and/or executive summaries, using Power BI and Excel.
Conduct strategic, exploratory analyses to define customer, item, vendor, and/or salesforce segmentation schemes.
Collaborate with IT and master data teams to update data in source systems (such as ERP, PIM, or HRIS) to operationalize data-driven segmentation.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field (MBA is a plus) Minimum of 3
years of experience in business analysis and data analysis Strong analytical skills and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar Ability to analyze quantitative data and make strategic recommendations to an executive audience Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong bias toward clarity, efficiency, and elegant solution design Creative thinker who can generate solutions to previously unanswered problems Good to Have:
Hands-on experience as an analyst within a highly matrixed B2B distribution company Hands-on experience as an analyst supporting Sales, Category Management, Finance, Procurement, or Operations Experience with advanced analytics techniques such as linear regression or cluster analysis Experience with business intelligence, ERP, and CRM systems Hands-on experience with Web Analytics implementation or reporting (e.
g.
, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) Hands-on experience with Digital Marketing campaign reporting (e.
g.
