Soft Surroundings is seeking a Women's 1X Fit Model to provide feedback on the fit, movement & feel of our unique garments.
The Fit Model will collaborate with our Technical Design team to pinpoint potential customer concerns about quality and fit.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable standing and changing garments throughout fitting sessions and comfortable in front of a group of people in a very fast-paced environment.
This role will be a long term contract, committment required is 2-4 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
Maintain body measurements for a Women's 1X based on Soft Surroundings standard measurements.
Body Measurements:
Bi-Monthly Measurements Size Equivalents 18-20 Bust 45-47 Waist 41-43.
25 Low Hip 47-49 Must be able to stand for extended periods of time while Technical Designers adjust worn garment into desired fit.
Must be 5'5 to 5'7 in height Collaborate and communicate in fit sessions with Technical Designers to ensure all necessary updates have been adjusted to samples to improve overall fit (garment feel, fabric comfort, ease of getting garment on and off the body) for production approval.
Experience and Skills Excellent verbal communication skills Problem solving Some knowledge in fashion terminology is a plus Punctual Previous Fit Model experience not required Modeling background preferred Job Types:
