The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will develop, coordinate, and implement multiple channels of communications to promote Congregation B'nai Amoona.
Under the direction of the Director of Strategic Operations, this position will create and maintain promotional materials, develop and manage content for all social media, and assist in the maintenance of our website.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for the creation of content for Congregation B'nai Amoona's digital presence (i.
e.
, website, social media accounts, and email campaigns) including photography, videography, writing and design.
Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
Responsible for graphic design, weekly email communications and layout of marketing materials including, but not limited to, flyers, brochures, presentations, invitations and other promotional materials consistent with Congregation B'nai Amoona's brand guidelines.
Coordinate and execute email campaigns, meeting deadlines, following timelines, and ensuring uniformity of content/messaging.
Collaborate with staff and volunteers on organizational initiatives and events.
Update and maintain a document library of all Congregation B'nai Amoona marketing materials.
Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned (i.
e.
printing of name tags, labels, signage, et.
).
Education, Experience, Skills:
Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field preferred.
Two to three years of relevant experience preferred.
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.
Experience using social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Vimeo, and YouTube).
Proficient in various web content management systems and email marketing systems.
Must be extremely detail-oriented, possess excellent written and verbal communications skills, work well under deadlines pressure, and be able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
Has the ability to take the initiative in learning and implementing new concepts, ideas, and methods.
Demonstrates a genuine concern and respect for others and handles difficult or sensitive issues using tact and diplomacy.
Must possess the ability to work comfortably with diverse groups (board members, staff, and congregants) with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
