Role Overview
The Security Supervisor partners with the Operations Department and Client Manager to oversee daily security operations at an assigned property. This role combines hands-on security presence with team leadership, ensuring residents, tenants, visitors, and vendors receive exceptional service while maintaining a safe and secure environment.
The Supervisor is responsible for guiding and supporting a team of Security Officers while ensuring company standards, safety protocols, and client expectations are consistently met. This position reports directly to the District Manager.
Supervisors are expected to maintain working knowledge of all post functions at the property and support operational needs across assignments when necessary, including assisting with training, operational coverage, and team support to ensure seamless property operations.
Supervisors are expected to lead by example and remain actively engaged in the day-to-day operations of the property.

While this position is assigned to a primary schedule, supervisors may occasionally assist with operational coverage, training, or team support outside of these hours when needed to ensure continuity of operations.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for Security Officers and assist in resolving employee questions or concerns
Create and manage weekly schedules and approve team member timesheets
Train, mentor, and onboard new Security Officers through hands-on instruction and job shadowing
Communicate company policies, procedures, and operational updates to staff
Conduct regular inspections, coaching, and performance feedback with team members
Maintain accurate incident reporting and clear communication with management
Provide high-level customer service to residents, tenants, vendors, and visitors
Monitor property access and ensure entry is limited to authorized individuals
Coordinate with internal departments and property leadership to address operational needs promptly
Promote accountability, engagement, and professionalism within the team
Maintain familiarity with all assigned post functions and assist with operational coverage or training when needed
Perform additional property-specific duties as required

Must be 21 years of age or older
Must hold a current St. Louis Security License, or have the ability to obtain one
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
Minimum three years of customer service experience
Minimum one year of supervisory or management experience
Two years of security or loss prevention experience preferred
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and follow-through skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to remain professional and effective in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Reliable, punctual, and highly dependable
Basic computer proficiency with an emphasis on report writing
Positive, team-oriented leadership approach
Experience with Microsoft Office preferred
Availability to support weekends, holidays, and occasional operational coverage outside regularly scheduled shiftsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
